Finance and Grants Manager
Location: Singapore
Nature of Work: Full-time
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization's overall budgeting process, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure sustainability and liquidity
- Oversee the entire grants management cycle, from budget development during proposal writing to financial reporting and compliance for all active grants
- Develop and enforce strong financial controls and procedures across all field offices, conducting regular internal audits

IT Support Officer

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to HQ and remote field staff via helpdesk ticketing system, email, and remote access tools
- Administer and maintain cloud-based systems, including user account management, email, and data storage
- Manage network infrastructure and ensure cybersecurity best practices are implemented
- Procure, configure, deploy, and maintain hardware (laptops, printers, smartphones) and software for all staff

Fundraising and Partnership Development Intern

- Support the grant writing process by compiling background information, editing proposals, and ensuring compliance with application guidelines

Community Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)

Nature of Work: Part-time (20-25 hours/week)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between SZM and local community leaders, authorities, and beneficiary families, building trust and ensuring community ownership of projects
- Organize and facilitate participatory community meetings, focus group discussions, and needs assessments to identify local priorities and inform culturally appropriate project design
- Mobilize community participation in project activities, including the formation and training of community-based management committees (e.g., for water points, school governance, health initiatives)
- Conduct awareness-raising sessions on topics relevant to local SZM projects, such as health, hygiene, nutrition, girls' education, protection, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable resource management
- collect community feedback through established mechanisms, ensure it is documented, and communicate responses back to the community to close the feedback loop
- Identify and mitigate potential conflicts or misunderstandings between the project and the community, acting as a mediator when necessary
- Provide regular written and verbal reports on community perceptions, challenges, successes, and changing dynamics to the Project Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a local resident of the specific community or region where the project is implemented, with deep, established roots and an unparalleled understanding of local customs, traditions, languages, and power structures
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community mobilization, social work, extension services, or a similar role, preferably with an NGO or community-based organization
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage respectfully with all segments of a community, including women, youth, elders, and marginalized groups
- Fluency in the dominant local language(s) is mandatory. Basic proficiency in the country's official language is required for reporting purposes
- Basic literacy and demonstrated report-writing skills
- High level of respect and trust within the local community is essential
Digital Learning Content Creator (Part-Time)
Location: Remote (Must be based in SZM's countries of operation: Ethiopia, Niger, South Sudan, Nepal, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria, Colombia, Guatemala)
Nature of Work: Part-time (20 hours/week)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design, script, and storyboard engaging and pedagogically sound digital learning modules for topics aligned with SZM's programs
- Create and integrate supporting multimedia assets, including culturally appropriate graphics, simple animations, and audio narrations
- Localize and translate existing global digital content to ensure it is linguistically, culturally, and contextually relevant for the specific target country and audience, avoiding stereotypes and ensuring inclusivity
- Manage a content calendar and deliver assets according to agreed timelines and project needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven professional experience in instructional design, e-learning development, educational media production, or a related field
- Proficiency with content creation tools
- Deep understanding of user-centered design and accessibility principles for diverse learners
- Native or professional fluency in at least one local language from SZM's countries of operation is mandatory. Professional fluency in English is required for coordination with the HQ team
- Exceptional cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of the social and cultural context of the country for which they are creating content
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a remote team
